We did it!!!

Instead of going to the gym today for our spinning class Tammy and I decided to ride the new trail system on Legacy Parkway. It was a 25 1/2 mile round trip. It was a nice ride! We had to take our bikes to Farmington to get on the trail system (I am sure some day when they find enough money it will connect to the Syracuse trail system) then we rode down past where Legacy Highway connects with I-215. Of course I had to take a picture to blog about it so you know that we did it! If you look close you can see the freeway sign for Redwood road, I just wanted to document how far away from home I had ridden my bike. Tammy and I tried to get a picture of us both with the trail system map behind us-while we were holding the camera. It took several tries. I kind of felt like we were in a photo booth trying to get one good picture of us! It was fun to ride and see new sights.

I am definetly impressed! I've driven Legacy and every time I do I think, "Who in the world bikes/walks this trail? It goes on forever." Kudos to you!

Dan has taken his bike on that trail several times - he just takes back roads through Syracuse and Layton until he connects with the trail. He has gone all the way to work and back a few times. Good job I am impressed!

How fun. We tried to go a couple of weeks ago but it rained the morning. It's on our list. Look like fun. Great work ladies.

I am embarrassed to say that I also rode my bike yesterday, all the way to Jensen's Park and back...I was winded...and red and...well, I'm just a big whimp.
