Tammy and I went and visited the Salt Lake City Cemetery on our way home from seeing the floats. It was another thing that we can cross off of our list! She has been there many many times in her life and knew where we were going, so I guess she mostly did this one for me. Thanks Tammy! We went around and saw the Prophets Headstones.

That cemetery has such a beautiful view-and I am afraid the people there are not even enjoying it :)

Lee's brother is buried here. On our way through the cemetary to bury him we saw many of these prophets headstones. I had no idea they were all buried in the same cemetaryuntil we stumbled upon them. It was interesting for me. Glad you got to see it too. --Lori
What an interesting thing to see. Glad you are getting to do the things on your bucket list. Maybe I should make a list.
I always wanted to do that before we moved...oh well I guess we'll have to make a special trip!
Next time you come up, if you haven't already, stop in Whitney & see President Ezra Taft Benson's grave. It is one of the places I go when I need some peace & quiet & a place to meditate. As long as I stay in President Benson's part of the cemetery & not where the first wife of my polygamous grandfather resides, I'm fine. I don't think she likes me. That part of the cemetery is always cold & forbidding.
I think Mother would enjoy this particular tour. One of her lifelong wishes has been to meet a prophet of God.
