We have our Porter reunion every-other-year. This year Edmond and Teri were in charge and did a wonderful job. We met at Walter's cabin on Thursday night we played and visited and ate and ate and ate...Friday we went to the Franklin park and talked about our school days as all of us older children had gone to school in Franklin. We played bocce ball in the park and also went to the Franklin Relic Hall. It was a fun day and the weather was good and lots of big shade trees.Saturday we spent the day at Glendale Reservoir boating, jet skiing and eating. There are some real dare-devils in the family! Big kids and little kids we all had fun. The only sad part of the reunion was that Lori and Lee's family had come all the way down from Washington a few days earlier and spent that time in SLC with Lee's family and when it was time to come to the reunion they were all really sick so they just left to go home and we did not get to visit with them!!! :(

Hey, we were up in that area this weekend too! Except we were at Riverdale Resort, north of Preston. I thought of you as we drove through!
Ian told Don-Mike that the Porter Reunion was this weekend. He was excited because he hadn't been able to go for a few years. Don-Mike wanted to know if we were going. I told him no, I was sure it was the DORIN Porter reunion, not the FRED Porter reunion.
So glad you had an enjoyable time. I hope Ian & Heather were able to make it. Too bad about Lee's fam.
