We planned ahead and chose to "camp" a couple of nights along the way just for fun. On Thursday night we camped out in the Mountains of California and Friday night we camped at Crater Lake, there was still snow in our camp ground and the mosquitoes were huge! After that we were glad to be back to a motel with a big screen TV.
