We were able to talk to Elder Coburn today for Mother's day. What a wonderful day for Missionary mom's around the world!!!!...and for the rest of the family to be able to hear his voice and just talk to him for a while. He called home once and the connection was so bad we had a hard time hearing so he went to another place and called again and it was much much better. We also have received some pictures from him just yesterday. The couple missionaries Elder and Sister Willis's daughter had gone over to Africa to visit and she brought back some pictures from Kendell so we were able to view them right before he called. It is a treat to receive pictures from him and we are thankful to their daughter for being so kind to bring them home to us. He sounded good and he reassured me he was getting enough food to eat and that he was taking his malaria pills and his multi-vitamins! We are so proud of him and his hard work and efforts.

awwwww! When you talk to him again, tell him hi for me!! I'm so proud of him!!!! :) it looks like he's having a good time! I wish I could write to him! He's a lucky boy to have you as his mom! He's gonna be so blessed!
I'm glad you got to talk with him and see some pictures. That's a great Mother's Day present!
