Yes! Nathan and I had a camp out in the back yard. Yes! It was all by ourselves and without kids. Who said that you had to have kids to do crazy fun things? Really we bought a new tent for me to take to girls camp and Nathan wanted to make sure I knew how to put it up and take it down. Our other tent is now over 30 years old (Nathan's parents bought it for us for a wedding present) and it is showing a lot of wear a broken zipper and a couple of holes! The new ones are so much lighter and have a much easier system to put up. He wanted to go camping up Cottonwood but I thought it would be to cold up there this time of the year so I suggested we just go to Willard Bay and he said we may as well camp in the back yard if we were going to go there-so we did we camped in the backyard.

I think I would have put the tent up and down for practice and then gone to sleep in my nice soft, warm, comfy bed. At least you didn't have far to go for a good bathroom.
We do that every once in a while! It's kinda fun to sleep outside every once in a while! I'm glad to know we're not the only ones that do it!
