GAS $1.89
I could not believe it!!! Gas was $1.89 this morning when I went to fill-up. I thought for sure that those days were over. It made me want to do a happy dance, or go on a road trip or something!!! I do remember when I was a girl and they had "gas wars" in Preston to see what gas station could sell it the cheapest the lowest I ever remember is 25 cents a gallon but most of "teen" years gas was about 35-65 cents a gallon. After we had been married a couple of years it started to climb up in price and it hit $1.00 a gallon and we all thought the world had come to an end! I am not complaining about $1.89 I will gladly pay that! Does some one want to go on a road trip with me???

Not trying to out do you but we just bought gas for $1.75--of course we had a 20 cent Safeway discount but hey who cares how we get it cheap.

In July it cost me $60 to fill up my van. On Monday I filled it up for $26. I thought at first I hadn't filled it up all the way, but I had. I just wish grocery prices would follow!
Pick me for your road trip, too. I want to go on a road trip with you. Our gas just finally got to $1.89.
