Christmas a little early at our house

I usually don't put the Christmas tree up so early but you all know that Kendell is leaving before Christmas and I wanted him to get in on as much as the season as possible! We have this HUGE tree that we usually put up but in the night I got thinking that after Kendell's Sacrament meeting and we have everyone over for dinner that there just would not be enough room and it is so big and so hard to put up and down I was not going to (make Nathan) take it back down and put it back up. Nathan had a good idea "lets just go buy a small real on for this year" I jumped right on that idea until on the way to the store I got adding up..new tree, new trees stand, new Christmas lights...when we looked in Wal-Mart you could but a artificial one for less than the cost of just the tree little lone the stand and lights, sometime I am just so practical (I get that from my mother) so this year we just have a little tree and it will work for now but I think we will put the big one up again next year it does look lots better in the room with the vaulted ceiling than this little one.
We had help this year putting up the tree! Cassidy and Courtney loved to put the ornaments on!
