Trip to Seattle and Vancouver BC

We took a little trip up to Seattle and Vancouver BC. We stopped on the way up and stayed a night with Edmond and Teri. The next day we left for Seattle and we stopped in and visited with Lori and her family. Then we were off to do a bit of sight seeing. We did see Mt. Rainier!! Last time we came up this way to see the mountain it was all fogged over so we did get a nice picture of it this time.

We got to Seattle and went to Pikes Market place. They sold fresh fruit and fish and flowers and lots of booths with people trying to sell everything you can imagine. We watched the boats in the harbor and just took in the sites of the city.

Our next adventure was to the top of the space needle. It was a clear day and you could see forever.

Here is the view from the top:

We went to the Boing museum and look... I was aboard AIR FORCE ONE!!!!

When it got hot and our feet were tired we went to the Seattle Temple for the afternoon.

Then we drove to Vancouver BC and stayed in a Motel down town. We were on the 27th floor and this was a view from our room.

We went out on the Docks and watched float planes take off and ships come in and gas up at the gas station out in the water. We also saw the "Fire and Ice Torch" from the Olympics.

We spent a bit of time at CANADA PLACE. Our motel was a block away.

We drove around Stanley Park and saw the sights.

Here is the night time view from our Motel

On Saturday we stopped in and did a session at the Vancouver BC temple.
