Girls Camp 2011

I was a Stake Assistant Girls Camp director this year. Our Stake always goes to Camp Woodland. We had a nice time, but I will have to admit it was a bit more stressful than I thought it would be. But all in all we had a great time and we will tweak a few things for next year. I am not sure I should post some of these pictures or not...some of them make me look like I acted a bit crazy...

We were "Bee's" most of camp. Yes, like Worker bees!
We were at the top of the hike waiting for the girls to come and join us,
We did something different this year where we spent an afternoon doing all kinds of service projects. I was surprised how much the girls enjoyed doing that.
Hum...acting crazy again? This was for our Lolly-pop skit. We did a skit every day! The stake leaders got to stay in the lodge but the wards and girls were outside in tents.
Paula and I were in charge of making the camp flag this year. We left all the white around the temple for the girls to sign it, I wished I would of gotten a picture of it after it was all signed. The theme this year was "Be Beautiful to Him"
The lodge has a wonderful kitchen, and the stake provided a meal a day for the girls but the other meals were prepared and eaten in their camp-outdoors.
Kim, she was the Stake Camp Director and me in our cool tie dyed shirts that we did at YCL camp. They turned out awesome and we had fun doing them. We had a couple of really nice programs and Landon and Seara got to come up and be part of one. I wish I would of gotten a picture of them...so cute!!!!
