We booked a week at a condo in Las Vegas last summer and our timing was wonderful. We went to Vegas and enjoyed the sunshine while we had rain and our first snow at home!
On our way down we stopped at the St. George Temple and did a session. We had never been to the St.George Temple before so that was kind of fun.
Saturday we went out to Red Rock Canyon about 40 minutes out of Las Vegas. It was pretty and interesting, but I was hoping to see a real turtle.
Sunday we found a church and went. In the afternoon we went out and visited some friends and they took us to see some wild big horn sheep that come down and graze in the city park in the afternoon. They were so kind and even had us over for Sunday dinner and a good visit.
Then we drove across the new bridge at Hoover Dam. It has been open for just a couple of weeks now. To be honest I was very disappointed just because they built the wall on the bridge so high that you can't even see the dam below! You could drive right over it and never even know what a view that you missed!

Tuesday night we got to go watch Phantom of the Opera. It was good and I am glad that we went.

But my most favorite thing that we did all week long was go to the Lion King!

I could not believe the costumes!!

We even spent an afternoon at the pool while the kids said it was snowing at home.
On our last day there we went to an R.V. show. It was fun and there were some very nice trailers there and a few motor homes that we just had to laugh at.

SOO, SOOOOO, SOOOOOOO Jealous!!
That definetely looks like a warmer week than we spent. That kitchen in the RV looks nicer than the one in my house.
