My mother just finished making this double wedding ring quilt. She pieced it and then quilted it by hand. Boy am i impressed with her talent and diligence. It is beautiful!!! Is there anything that says's "I love you" more than a hand made quilt??
That is beautiful. Hand quilting is a lost art. I went to a quilting shop once and asked about hand quilting. The lady laughed and said "why would you want too". I thought beacuse my Grandma did it and I wish I could have learned from her. Someday I will learn it.
