Fun in the Sun!

I just returned from 10 days in the sunshine of Arizona. Oh, it was lovely. I went with my friend Tammy and her mother and sister. Their brother owns a very nice house there and they needed someone to come and house sit for a few days. We called it "The Resort" pool and all.It was gorgeous and we had so much fun.! This was the view from "my" bedroom window out on the court yard.


On the way down we went over Hoover Dam and this is the progress on the bridge that they are doing. We have been watching it for a few years now. It is suppose to be finished this fall.

We did something fun each day.
We went shopping in Old Town Scottsdale:


We spent one day making purses:


We did pedicures one day: (and yes that is real green grass under out feet)

We went to the temple:

We sat around the pool and soaked in some sun rays:

And we crocheted and crocheted: I now have everyone making hot pads.

Did I mention that we went shopping AGAIN. This is at an open air mall.

I had a wonderful time! I could have a winter home there!
