Today brings back a flood of memories for me as well as all of you to I am sure.
We had just moved to Utah about 3 weeks prior to these events. I do remember thinking to myself that "something" needed to happen so I could always remember when we moved here. I did not expect this!!!! It happened 8 years ago-we moved here 8 years ago. I am sure that I will always remember that. It was just a quiet morning and I was just getting ready to take the kids to school when Nathan called home and told me to turn my TV on. At first I guess I was just naive because I wondered how in the world the pilot could not have missed hitting that building...then the rest of the day played out and I started to understand. I don't think I even did anything that day other than watch TV. I could not believe what had just happened IN OUR country.

I guess I'll always feel guilty that I didn't sit down with my son & watch the events playing out right before our eyes. It really bothered him. But no, it was Tuesday, the day the newspaper went to press. The paper had to go out. At that time we had to call in dead if we wanted any time off on a production day.
