This is going to be a quilt!

O.K. I need to post this to motivate me, so when ever you see me you can say "Sheila how is that quilt coming that you are making?"...then I will have to answer! I am not really a quilter but I sure admire the people that can do it. When I got married my sweet mother had made me about 10 quilts. I still have them and use them. I am going to start out easy with a "rail fence" pattern. It should be a good project to have when summer is over and I quit running all over the country.

Love the fabrics! I'm excited to see it when you are finished. But then again I love green and I love frogs!

I love these coordinating fabrics. They are beautiful together. I wish you lived near us. Amber believes that she loves to sew. However, she feels frustrated that she doesn't have a better teacher. She is working on a skirt right now. Lee took her to JoAnns last week to get a serger and a new, better sewing machine. The one we have was the most basic of sewing machines and just doesn't sew well.I hope she is able to continue to love sewing enough to practice and figure it out until she becomes proficient. I've helped her some and Lee has helped her some. Lee is better help than I am as he is better at reading and understanding directions. ~ Lori
