Kendell and Kelsey Engagement Story

A while ago Kelsey showed Kendell a picture of the temple with a quote on it that said "If this is not your castle then you are not my prince!" With this quote in mind Kendell set out to find a way to propose and came up with a Cinderella theme, since that is Kelsey's favorite princess. I made a purple pillow with gold trim and tassles all around it, just like the movie. We also found some clear slippers that were just Kelsey's size. Kendell had asked Kelsey to go to the temple and take some pictures there since they hadn't gotten a nice photo there yet. So the two of them dressed up and headed to the Bountiful temple. Kendell also made arrangements with his friend's little sisters to act like they were taking their baptism pictures but in all reality they took pictures of the entire thing. While they were outside the temple Kendell told Kelsey "I hope you know this is my castle" then politely asked if she would be his princess. She said yes but Kendell said she had to prove it and pulled out a bag that was nearby and inside was the purple pillow and the slippers. He explained to her that if the slippers fit she could be his princess. So he got down on one knee took her boots off and slipped the "glass" slippers on. After Kelsey walked around for a few seconds and proved they fit, Kendell pulled the ring out and asked Kelsey to marry him. In Kendell's words she "tackled" him, then said yes!! We are excited to have Kelsey to be apart of our family. She is a great girl, and Kendell is a lucky guy!!
